The seventh and last day I walked down to Cashapampa.
Again a nice day. The path continues downwards following the river, that get bigger and bigger and sometimes makes it necessary to take detour because the path is underwater, downwards to Cashapampa.
The first part of the day I don’t see any one, but the last 2/3hours I pass some people that walk without guide and a couple locals trying to catch trout (without success).
During the day I eat lots, take a nap in the sun, and read. According to the map this should take over a day, but it is clear on the map it is not going to be that far. I arrive at 2pm in Cashapampa, taking two collectivo’s back to Huaraz.
